久しぶりに脇ノ沢漁港を訪れて、その変貌ぶりに驚きました。以前の脇ノ沢漁港は、脇ノ沢地区の水門を抜けると沖に向けて約150メートル位の堤防があり、左側には漁船が係留され、右側は約90㎝位高くなっていてそこにリール竿を立てて友達と一緒に魚を釣っていた思い出が残っています。しかし、今回訪れてみると、その堤防はさらに延長されており、新たに設置された赤い灯台が目を引きました。また、水門付近の左側も埋め立てられ、建物（おそらく牡蠣の加工所）が建設中でした。この大きな変化に、時間の経過とともに漁港が進化していることを感じさせられました。
