此処、陸前高田市は例年梅雨明けが遅いのは普通ですが、今年の様に梅雨明けが無いのも稀な事です。
例年なら遅くてもお盆前には梅雨明け宣言が出るのですが、今年はお盆に入っても梅雨明けの言葉は聞かれません。
そんな気候の中で晴れ間が出て快晴日和に、海水温も日照不足により例年より低いとのことでしたが、広田湾は、波穏やかで微風で海水浴には絶好の日でした。今夜は、高田松原花火大会も在りますので、この分なら夜の広田湾を色とりどりの光が彩ることでしょう。
