1930年に開校した高田高校は男女共学で、学科は以前は普通科・商業科・情報処理科等が有りましたが、2003年頃から商業科や情報処理科の募集を停止して、現在は普通科・広田(ひろた)水産高校と統合を図り海洋システム科を設置。
Takata High School, established in 1930, was a co-educational institution offering various departments such as general studies, commerce, and information processing. However, around 2003, recruitment for the commerce and information processing departments ceased, and efforts were made to integrate with Hirota Fisheries High School. Presently, the school offers the general studies department and has established the Marine Systems department.
高田高校野球部は、1988年夏の甲子園に初出場しましたが、8月10日の第三試合に兵庫県代表強敵校の滝川二高と対戦し、残念ながら8回裏降雨コールドで敗れてしまいました。
