改装後には2階に上がる外階段が設置され便利になりました。時計台の前には「岩頭の女」の裸婦像が少し見えます。前側には県道141号線(旧国道45号線)が走っており、少し走ると風光明媚な広田湾や高田松原が見えてきます。
