喧嘩七夕とはそれぞれの地区の山車に長さが約20数メートル程の杉の丸太を藤皮で縛って取付、短冊や雪洞・数万枚のアザフなどで飾付、七夕囃子に乗せて町内を巡り、勇壮な「喧嘩太鼓」が打たれると、双方の山車がぶつかり合い(喧嘩)を演じます。この、ぶつかり合い(喧嘩)が動く七夕との相違点であります。
