門之浜漁港の松林は、高田松原海水浴場に広がる黒松林に比べると規模は小さいですが、12月の寒風が門之浜湾から吹き付けても、互いに手を取り合うかのように、その寒さに耐えているように見えました。松の生え方を観察すると、幹が陸側に傾いているものが多く、これは海風に逆らわず、自然の力に任せて育っている証です。そんな姿を見て、松が自然の摂理に従って静かに成長していることを感じ、自然の力強さを改めて実感しました。
